Our history
We were founded in 1894 with a mission to serve children in need.
We've been a summer home, an orphanage, a residential treatment center,
and most recently, a therapeutic day school for children coping with
special needs. Learn more of our story.
WE ARE LOOKING TOWARD OUR FUTURE
In December 2024, we announced that we are selling our historic campus and buildings to the Maret School, and our plans to transform into a grant-making program assisting families of children coping with special needs. The After School Enrichment Program will continue through at least the close of the 2025-2026 school year.
